Conquer

During conquests, opposing settlements are permanently occupied by counts. For this to happen, the city's realm of power, an abstract representation of the player's influence on this settlement, must drop to 0.

A foreign, attacking count, that survives the battle against the defenders can reduce this realm of influence. In the process, a random value between 2,250 and 2,750 is subtracted from the realm of power. However, if the attacked settlement has a memorial, the realm of influence is only reduced by 1,750 to 2,250. Independent of the actual number, the count can only reduce his realm of power up to a maximum of half of the maximum. Only one count can be effective per attack.

For each settlement, at least two counts are required in two separated attacks. However, a fully extended settlement (10,000 realm of power) including a memorial needs at least five or six counts (or rather attacks).

As soon as the realm of power has been reduced to 0 points, the settlement becomes the property of the player that sent the count that caused the last realm of power damage. After a conquest, the new leader's realm of power immediately increases to 30% of the maximum.
